Ladies Day – Rosé All Day
Wednesday, May 30, 2018 – 10:00 a.m – 2:00 p.m.
The Ladies Day event has been a tradition at Devon that dates back to the early 1900’s, and took place on the same day as the ladies sidesaddle competition. Presently Ladies Day is still one of the most anticipated events during the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair. The vast array of colorful hats that sprinkle the grounds of Devon is certainly an impressive sight to see.
Ticket includes participation in the hat contest, cocktail reception and light hors d’ oeuvres.
Ladies Day Prizes
Prizes are awarded in the following categories, with more consideration to come:
Best in Show: The Grand Prize for the hat that best incorporates this year’s theme.
Most Fascinating: For the best ‘fascinator’ topper which must have a 4-inch diameter base.
Best Hat to Toe: For the best overall ensemble outfit “hat to toe.”
Best Hat and Purse: For the best hat and purse pairing
Best Group: For the best group of hats.
Rosiest: Best use of roses or the color rosé.
Please join the excitement as we raffle a pair of Dubarry boots valued at $489 courtesy of Trove General Store in Paoli. Tickets will be available for purchase for $5 each or 5 for $20 at registration and during the event.
