Put on your imagination cap, explore the many reasons we celebrate birthdays, and throw a birthday party for America.
Program Room: Oil Pastel Fireworks
11 am – 2 pm

Drop in any time to experiment with materials and process, as you create works of art inspired by your trip to the Museum and the fabulous fireworks that celebrate America’s birthday.
Performance: Yuki’s Journey

Yuki’s best friend has moved all the way to Tokyo! Help Yuki go on a journey through farms, rivers, and forests to get to the city.
Strolling Puppet Tour: Centennial Explorations

Join a Museum Educator and strolling puppet for a friendly walking tour of one of Centennial Exploration, a celebration of America’s 100th birthday and innovation.
American Storytime

Get cozy and listen to stories, sing songs, and build literacy skills with stories celebrating America.
Drop-In & Draw: Statue of Liberty

Drop-in to look closely at Please Touch’s Liberty Torch. Then grab a piece of paper and some colored pencils and draw your own torch collage.

Meet us at the Torch to stretch, wiggle, and move your body as we end the day with an exploration of rhythm and movement.
