Join us as the historic houses revive their colonial-era heritage and bring history to life! Reenactors and first-person interpreters will be present throughout the day at six Historic Houses in Fairmount Park.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Participating houses include Cedar Grove, Laurel Hill Mansion, Lemon Hill Mansion, Historic Strawberry Mansion, Mount Pleasant Mansion, and Woodford Mansion.

Experience 18th and 19th-century life through costumed interpreters presenting narratives, hands-on activities, and demonstrations of traditional trades, crafts, and domestic duties. Historical interpretation by Once Upon A Nation History Makers portraying real people from the past. Presented in collaboration with Historic Philadelphia, Inc.
