All Hallow's Eve Fall Festival
What could be more Halloween than a bat, a witch, a cat and a pumpkin? These are the craft themes that kids will create at the All Hallow’s Eve Fall Festival at historic Pennypacker Mills. Add in choosing your own pumpkin and painting it, shucking corn, making apple cider using an old-fashioned press, jumping in the hay pile, bean bag toss, and taking a tractor-pulled hayride around the scenic meadow. It’s all great family fun and best of all, it’s FREE! Perfect for the whole family. Kids ages 3-10 will enjoy the crafts. Younger children will need help with cutting and tracing crafts.
Why not enjoy a cup of fresh apple cider and some candy corn to satisfy your thirst and sweet tooth. Did you know that candy corn was invented in the 1880’s and is associated with autumn because of corn’s link to the fall harvest? There is always history in everything at Pennypacker Mills!
Bring family and friends to one of Montgomery County’s best Halloween destinations and enjoy an afternoon of fall fun! Pennypacker Mills is operated by the Montgomery County Division of Parks, Trails & Historic Sites. The site offers tours, education programs, exhibits, and seasonal events.
