Join us this year for a unique Christmas Homeschool Day at Cairnwood Estate, co-presented with Glencairn Museum! Cairnwood is the oldest National Historic Landmark in the Bryn Athyn Historic District, completed in 1895 as the home for John and Gertrude Pitcairn. Explore this unique country house estate and learn about the American Gilded Age in a fun-filled day featuring self-directed quests in the Carriage House and Main House, hands-on projects in the Music and Billiard Rooms, and an around the world tour of Glencairn Museum Nativities. Cairnwood is decorated every year with 8 Christmas trees and an exhibition of vintage fashions that brings the American Gilded Age in a formal country house to life.
$10 Adults/Seniors/Students
Free: Basic, Gold, and Patron level Glencairn Museum members/Cairnwood Estate members/Children 4 and under (Employee-level Glencairn membership and the Glencairn Library Pass program are not eligible for a discount.)
$2 per person for PA ACCESS/Museums for All cardholders
Advance ticket purchase required. No ticket sales at the door. Ticket purchase number limited—please do not book tickets on behalf of a larger group, please only book tickets for your immediate family group. If your immediate group exceeds the limit, please call 267.502.2962 to book.
