It’s 1777, and Clara is struggling to keep her family together while her husband is off fighting in the American Revolution. Her life is thrown for a loop when a wounded and mysterious man shows up at her Chester County home. Join us at Wentz’s United Church of Christ to meet local author C.J. McGroarty and hear the story behind her new novel, Clara in a Time of War. Copies of the book will be available for purchase to be signed by the author.
