Evening Engine Room Tour - Battleship New Jersey
Climb below deck and journey into the heart of the Battleship’s power!
This 90-minute, family-friendly walking tour takes you through the most powerful engineering plant ever installed on a battleship. Discover how steam engines propelled this giant at record-breaking speeds, and explore the real spaces where the crew worked and lived.
Get hands-on as you descend seven stories into the ship’s fire rooms, engine rooms, and steering stations—complete with massive boilers, turbines, and throttle wheels. Fun for all ages, and unforgettable for anyone who loves big machines and bold history!
