Enjoy an outdoor evening stroll on the grounds of the Bryn Athyn Historic District and see Bryn Athyn Cathedral, Glencairn Museum, and Cairnwood Estate adorned for the holidays.
At Cairnwood, guests can grab a warm cup of cocoa and explore the terraces, verandas, and winterized gardens twinkling with lights. Inspired by 19th century plate glass window displays, visitors will have an opportunity to peek into the decorated room settings with eight glittering Christmas trees, garlanded mantels over grand 1895 fireplaces, and the special exhibition Sumptuous and Snug: Striking Vintage Outerwear for the Holidays. Don’t forget to stop by the Cairnwood Garden House Visitor Center & Gift Shop to purchase a holiday unique gift.
Stroll the grounds of the Bryn Athyn Cathedral, see the illuminated building and stained-glass windows, walk through the Cloister to enjoy our Nativity triptych and representation of the Lord's birth, while strolling carolers delight you with Sacred Christmas music.
Take in the sights of Glencairn Museum’s grounds adorned by the cheerful glow of glimmering lights. Embrace the spirit of the Christmas season as you view nativity scenes displayed in the museum windows. A special feature of the display includes a stained-glass window depicting the Christmas story made by famed artist Lawrence Saint. The Museum’s Cloister will be decorated with twinkling lights and Christmas trees decked with handmade ornaments made by students of local schools. A great place for a photo op!
