Purim Open House with Folkshul

The Folkshul community invites people of all ages to our free open house to celebrate Purim! We'll gather virtually to sing songs, tell stories, watch shpiels and learn how to juggle while commemorating the survival of the Jews thanks to the ingenuity of brave women in the 5th century.

This free family event to celebrate Purim is an Open House to learn more about Folkshul. On Zoom we'll share shpiels (silly skits), stories, music, the four mitzvot of Purim. We will have also have very special guests, juggler Andrew Scharff of "Andrew 's Big Show" and musician Dot of "Dot's Serenades".
Purim is an annual joyous festival that celebrates the ingenuity of a brave young Esther, who helped ensure the survival of the Jewish people in the 5th center BCE.
This event was co-created and will be led by some of our high school Folkshul members.
