Sugar Maple Trees - Green Lane Park

Join us as we celebrate 32 years of Maple Sugaring in the park. We will demonstrate tree tapping, the boiling down of maple sap at our evaporator, and share stories of “sugaring off ” in the old days. Visitors can compare the taste of pure maple syrup to commercial pancake syrup in a blind taste test.

Guided Site Tour - Philadelphia's Magic Gardens

Get an insider’s view of Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens. These guided interpretive tours take visitors through the PMG main site, including areas not normally open to the public. Topics include Zagar’s mosaic techniques and influences, the materials used in the mosaics (with a particular focus on tiles and global folk art), the narratives behind his iconography and images, and the history of South Street and Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens. Tours last approximately one hour, March 1- 29, 2020.
