Coffeeshop Cabaret: Scenes and Songs develops student’s repertoire by focusing on pieces that showcase both their musical and acting talents. Through one-on-one coaching and small group work, students learn practices for singing and how to fully engage as a character in song and scene work. They’ll dive into script analysis, character building, and improvisation. The class will culminate in a Coffeehouse style performance of monologues, solo and group songs, and scenes.
