ACTING IN EXILE
Looking for acting tips, tricks, and tools for youth theatre performers!? Well, seek no further! Acting in Exile, running July 21st-July 25th, 2025 provides youth performers with an opportunity to tap into the intersection of compassion and vulnerability to enhance their creative toolkits to become skilled, professional, and creatively conscious actors. Through theatre games and character development techniques, students will display their performance skills and creative storytelling in a community showcase for family and friends!
SCENE STUDY / SCRIPT SCULPTING
What is a play? What’s the anatomy of a scene? How can the characters, in my head, truly live on and off the page? Does this play capture my best voice? Unpack the answer to these questions and more during Theatre Exile’s Summer Theatre Camp. Running August 18th-22rd, 2025, students will have the opportunity to delve deeper into the wonderful world of theatre. After a week of theatre games, dramatic world building, script sculpting logistics, and advanced scene study, students will have an opportunity to display their creative storytelling skills in a community showcase to family and friends!
