Design Thinking: Hamster Haven
At Frankford Friends School, summer is all about creativity, exploration, and endless fun! Our program, designed for children entering Pre-K through 3rd grade, offers the best elements of a classic day camp. Each day is filled with exciting morning exploration sessions, time in the gym, engaging community games, hands-on art projects, and plenty of free play and socialization. Kids will stay cool with water games in our summer spray area, making every day a splash!

Engage in city planning for hamsters! You will first observe hamsters and learn about their needs. Then, through projects and discussion, you will work to discover what makes a community and how the careful planning of a city can affect its residents. Finally, you will collaborate with your teammates to build a city exclusively for live hamsters.
