Earth Day Celebration

As part of the Center’s Earth Day celebration, visitors can learn about green pioneers like President Teddy Roosevelt and First Lady Claudia “Lady Bird” Johnson.

They will also enjoy the spring weather as they participate in activities on the Center’s front lawn including gardening and 18th Century games. At activities tables visitors will create fun and handy cootie-catches that provide helpful tips on going green.
