The Madrigal family lives in an enchanted place, somewhere in Colombia, in this animated fantasy adventure.
Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz) feels like an outcast in the family, being the only one who doesn’t have a magical power. Her mother, for example, can heal with food, and one of her sisters, Luisa (voice of Jessica Darrow) has super strength. When the family suddenly starts to lose their powers, it’s time for Maribel to look inside herself for her own special ability that might just save them all.
The film also boasts a spirited lineup of original songs from Lin-Manuel Miranda.
