Generating Word Maps Using Text Mining

Do you want to know what everyone is saying about the latest game/movie/music? Do you like to share ideas using word graphics? What do you talk about most in your social media?
Students will learn how to use text mining software to illustrate important points or factors through word maps. Learn how word maps are used in powerful ways to communicate ideas through a picture using movie reviews, find commonly-used words and ideas to summarize the important points. Learn to use text mining software, which is a first step toward a future in data analytics.
Note: Students will need to bring a laptop to this workshop.
