Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
An array of free activities and entertainment are scheduled throughout the event, including readings from authors and illustrators, face painting, character meet-and-greets, live music and more! First time visitors will be dazzled by the beautiful Children’s Discovery Garden & Boat Pond, which will feature a Philadelphia Parks & Recreation After-School Program butterfly exhibit. Themed games and activities are also planned in conjunction with the exhibit, such as a toddler “caterpillar crawl”.
Guests can cool down by the Earth Fountain or kick back in the newly opened Sister Cities Cafe, where a variety of tasty treats and snacks will be offered at an additional cost. Don’t forget to bring a new or gently used book to donate to the Library in the Park Book Cart sponsored by TD Bank!
