Sukkot is a celebration of the harvest and change of seasons. Folkshul welcomes people of all ages to this special gathering that will combine music, dance and craft in a covid-safe manner at Fort Washington State Park.

Folkshul will build and decorate a sukkah (shelter), symbolizing the importance of shelter and inspiring recognition that many people are lacking food and shelter. There will be singing, socially-distant folk dancing, and students will make a bird feeder to bring home. The community also will reflect on why with such abundance there is also much food and shelter insecurity.
