Sunset Kayak Tour on the Schuylkill

Tour departs from the Walnut Street dock along the Schuylkill River Trail and heads upriver to the Fairmount Waterworks, where you’ll experience a rarely seen perspective of these historic structures from the water below. You’ll also enjoy spectacular views of the Art Museum and the city skyline! Experienced kayak guides will share plenty of interesting info along the way.

No gear or kayaking experience necessary- kayaking equipment and instruction provided by Hidden River Outfitters.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

– Moderate exertion level.
– All tours begin with a brief safety talk and on-shore kayaking lesson.
– Not recommended for ages under 12 (single) or 8 (double).
– Parental consent required for 18 and under.
– Please dress according to weather conditions.
– Bring water and a snack
– Bring bug spray and sunscreen
-There are nearby bathrooms (port-a-potties)
