Teen Artist Workshop

This weekly workshop series is designed to help teens build a portfolio of work for school or personal use. Each workshop will focus on a different portfolio requirement needed to apply to the Creative and Performing Arts High School and Benjamin Rush School. The workshops will allow students to expand their artistic skill sets as well as to investigate their individuality and unique identities. Students will be introduced to local and international artists while exploring different materials and techniques used in traditional and contemporary art making. 4 classes for $55 Sign up for 4 classes and get $5 off
Goals for this course
- To build a portfolio of work for school or personal use.
- Understand different art forms, materials and techniques.
- Learn about the curatorial process and prepare work to be exhibited in a professional art show.
- Gain knowledge of artists and their art forms.
All skill levels are welcome to join this class. No prior arts background needed.

Parent Responsibilities
- Must check in with Art Instructor upon drop-off
- On time drop off and pick up
- Call if you are running late for pick up or drop off
- Deadline to enroll is the Friday before the program start date. Parents must enroll and pay online by then.
*Masks are mandatory at Cherry Street Pier must be worn at all times except when eating or drinking.
