Theatre Camp is a summer performing arts camp that teaches specific artistic skills in acting, dance/movement, visual arts, storytelling/playwriting, music, all of which culminate in a final performance created, produced, and performed by the campers. Summers are separated into sessions, which include 1-week intensive courses and up to 3-weeks of content creation and production.
This year's options include:
3-Week Camps:
July 17 - August 4, Science Fiction Double Feature
Aliens? Super heroes? Apocalyptic worlds? There’s so many options to chose from in the land of Science Fiction. New stories are ready to be found in this 3-week camp!
August 7 - 25, Time is Ticking
We are all trapped by the passing of time... or are we? Come to this 3 week camp where we will explore the ways that we can be a part of the fabric of time. What happens if we jump ahead? What happens if (and when!) we change the past. Join us!
1-Week Camps:
June 26 - 30, Session 1: Play Deconstruction
What goes into making a play? This week we will explore many different types of scripts and plays. We’ll explore characters, plots, and more as we look at the inner workings of scripts!
July 10 - 14, Session 2: Recycled Art
We can make art from anything! This week we will explore the various ways we can make art from the things we find around us, giving them new purpose and new life! The main focus of this week will be visual art, but we promise we will use the other artistic disciplines too!
3-Day Workshop:
July 5 - 7, Session 1: Let’s play Improv!
Hone your improvisation skills in this face paced 3-day intensive! Exercise your brain to think on its feet while having a ton of fun.
