In the not-so-distant future, a water shortage and terrible drought has led to a government-wide ban on private toilets. The giant corporation, “Urine Good Company” owns the only brand of public toilets which can be used…for a fee, of course. Those who disobey the laws will be sent to the secretive “Urinetown.” After all these years under the near-dictatorship of Caldwell B. Cladwell, owner of U.G.C, our brave hero Bobby Strong and his rebellious crew lead a revolt, fighting for the freedom to pee for free.
