The PlayArts playspace is designed for infants up through age six, however, we offer classes and other services for kids up to age 12.

Under the care of Director of Education, Adam Pelta-Pauls, the Phoenix and Turtle Club is an ensemble of young artists dedicated to performing classical works of drama and literature. Classes are year-round and summer camp is available.

Our new virtual programs keep youth connected, creative, and engaged from home and are available for grades 3 - 12. Classes include instruction on guitar, bass, drums, piano, or vocals, making music on a computer, songwriting, and more!

Sawubona Theatre for Creative Arts, Mental Well Being and Advocacy is a performing arts theatre space where teaching artist from Sawubona Creativity Project teach workshops and classes to children, teens and adults from underserved areas of Philadelphia. All of these SEL infused classes and workshops take place at our site in South Philadlelphia.

We offer virtual and in person tutoring to students in grades PreK - 6 in reading, ela, spelling, math, and spanish. Lessons are $25 per hour and we offer services 7 days a week.

Theatre Arts classes are offered in singing dancing and acting for students in grades K-12. These classes are offered on Saturdays in the fall and winter. We also offer a winter musical production (Annie Jr. this year) in December and a spring show.
