We begin with fundamentals of animation, work our way through simple character animations, and then end the term on a mini short film! When we are all done, students should have a firm grasp on the animation process and be able to take what they learned to create animations on their own.

Following our mission of making the arts accessible to our entire community, campers experience a variety of creative outlets. This year, each week will bring a new art workshop, medium, and theme to discover. Campers will participate in half-day visual arts and half-day performing arts ranging in painting, drawing, mixed media, ceramics, improv, character creation, script writing, dance, and more! Explore the Arboretum looking for native and mythical creatures! Through storytelling, games, and crafts, we’ll let our imaginations lead us on daily adventures. Ages 5-8.

Dive into nature and take full advantage of a place where your kid can unplug. Camp Schuylkill provides a summer of immersive outdoor exploration, discovery and wonder for campers ages 4-12. They will have intimate access to 340 acres of forest, fields, streams and ponds while exploring nature through hands-on discoveries and play. This will be a summer to remember where your kid will be truly present to appreciate the wonder of the outdoors.
