First Friday: May Flowers | Kids Out and About Philadelphia

First Friday: May Flowers

Celebrate the living chemistry of spring and leave with a deeper appreciation for the plants that have clothed, healed, and inspired us for generations.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

As we welcome in the May flowers, the Science History Institute is celebrating the amazing chemical powers of plants! Stop by  to learn how plants become the clothing in our closets and the drinks in our cups or make your own botany book to help distinguish between what’s medicine and what’s poison! The library team will also showcase a selection of rare books on medicinal plants.

Celebrate the living chemistry of spring and leave with a deeper appreciation for the plants that have clothed, healed, and inspired us for generations.
