Refreshing Mountain Retreat and Adventure Center was founded in 1983 upon the vision of Marlin and Sharon Harnish to provide a place where families could be refreshed. What began with two bunk houses and a stable on the grounds of a run-down horse camp has now blossomed into a facility that hosts hundreds of groups and thousands of individuals on an annual basis.
Refreshing Mountain is a christian retreat & adventure center in Lancaster County. We offer a family friendly environment where individuals and groups can come for a fun day event or a refreshing overnight retreat.
Zipline Tours: We have 2 courses with options for all skill & thrill levels. The Challenge Adventure features 5 ziplines & 9 high ropes challenges. The Aerial Excursion has 7 ziplines, 3 skybridges & a 40 ft rappel.
Day Events: Our outdoor adventures include ziplines, climbing tower, teambuilding, paintball, geocaching, archery & more. We also have a new escape room experience available.
Cabin Rentals: Our newly constructed, cozy 2-bedroom cabins sleep 8. We offer onsite activities & are near Lancaster and Hershey attractions.
Overnight Retreats: Our retreat packages include lodging, meals and use of our facilities, including meeting space, swimming pool, sports fields, gymnasium, hiking trails and more.
