They will have intimate access to 340 acres of forest, fields, streams and ponds while exploring nature through hands-on discoveries and play. Camp Ginkgo is an arts and nature camp located at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center for ages 5-12. The camp includes projects in the arts, field trips, and recreation.

Spells Writing Lab is a Philly-based non-profit organization that develops the creative and expository writing abilities of school-age children through fun and imaginative writing programs. Our five weeks of summer camp are packed full of irreverent and memorable writing activities, themed games and learning opportunities, and exciting projects like making sci-fi films or designing escape room games!

Explore the joy of movement this summer at ADF!

For 8 weeks every summer, our camp offers excellent instruction in riding and horsemanship for riders ages 8 - 16. The riding classes are structured according to riding experience. We offer beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons; thus allowing the children to accomplish their personal riding goals.

Stay the week with Blue Mountain and explore the mountain day and night. Overnight Campers experience the same adventures of the Day Campers, but have the added fun of spending their mornings & nights at Blue Mountain Resort! Overnight campers are housed in our group tents overlooking our ponds and prairies. Overnight Campers get to experience Blue after dark with night hiking, stargazing and sitting around the campfire telling stories and roasting smores!

Camp Ginkgo is a four-week arts and nature camp for children 5-12 years old featuring visual art, photography, and theatre. This year the camp will be uniquely located with the first two weeks at the Horticulture Center in Fairmount Park and weeks three and four at the Maguire Museum (formerly the Barnes Foundation with 15 galleries and beautiful gardens.)

NEW for 2024! Our MusicMan campers asked for it and we’ve got it! Now in partnership with the Lansdowne Symphony Orchestra, we are offering this ‘next level’ experience for young string orchestra players grades 5-8. Participants will experience masterclasses, large and small ensembles, technique focus, and instruction from some of the region’s finest educators and performers. Must have 2 years of experience: Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass. Elementary and Middle School students only.

Snipes Farm Day Camp programs connect children and youth to 80-acres of woods, creeks, fields and gardens for adventures every day with friends on a farm.
